Altecon takes advantage of the wireless technologies both in the planning stage and to interact with the automation systems.
Wireless technologies for a new way of living the automation
The increasing diffusion of new generation smartphone and tablets to create whole new ways to interact with the automation.
Altecon uses the Wi-Fi tecnology to offer three new products:
- Active Web Room is addressed to the hotel's customer, who can interact with his own room climate controls and lighting with their own smartphone or tablet.
- Web Room Service is dedicated to the hotel staff, providing a direct interface with the automation and allowing to send a wide range of reports in real time, like faults, minibar status, room situation.
- Active Web Office was developed taking into account the need of customization and flexibility of environments managed through the building automation, hence allowing to assign different levels of authorizations and permissions, as well as the hardware diagnostic.
Flexibility and modularity in the design of the plant
While designing the the automation system is important to have at disposal the most suitable and efficient solutions.
The aim to simplify the planning phase of a plant led us to develop wireless solutions IEEE 802.15.4 standard based. These solutions don't require wiring, thus solving one of the most frequent problems of plants under renovation.
